NRA First Steps – Rifle
What you will learn:
This course is designed for entry level rifle owners. If you do not have a rifle, rentals will be available. You can purchase ammo at the gun range. The fundamentals of shooting will be introduced, reviewed, and built upon.
This course teaches you:
- NRA safety rules
- Proper operation of semi-automatic and bolt-action rifles
- Ammunition knowledge
- Rifle selection
- Safe-storage.
This course will cover:
- Rifle inspection
- Maintenance
- Range safety.
Students are responsible for range fees.
